SOUTH KOREA: Daewoo to resume Pupyong production - paper
Daewoo Motor will resume operations at its Pupyong plant on March 7, the Korea Times reported. The company will concentrate on the Lanos and Leganza passenger car models. According to the newspaper, Daewoo said that inventories had decreased from 13,000 cars to 9,000 since it stopped production at Pupyong in the middle of February to save about 84.5 billion won ($US6.6 million).
