Chrysler Group sales across Latin America in June 2001 grew by 1% compared to sales of 218,633 units in June 2000, according to a local report.

The new Jeep Liberty has been a great success, the report said, helping grow Mexican sales 19.6% to 9,875 vehicles.

First half Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler sales were up 30.6% to 61,029 units.
