USA: CarSOS.com Launched, First Tell-All Auto Web Site
IBP Services launched the final phase of CarSOS.com, the first auto Web site dedicated to revealing the tricks of the trade used by dealerships to "dupe" unsuspecting buyers.
Through a collaboration of former dealership employees with a combined 50 years experience, specializing in all aspects of the industry, CarSOS.com takes the consumer step-by-step through the buying and leasing process.
For a nominal fee, consumers can register and be a member to get all the services. Auto purchase and lease process is simplified through the never-before-disclosed information, easy-to-follow homework sheets and trained consultants, all focused on saving consumers money.
Unlike other auto sites, CarSOS.com is not affiliated with dealerships and does not receive commissions or profit by leading customers to their front door. The information on the site comes from first-hand knowledge rather than consumer experts.
"We saw that the Internet, although the information superhighway, had very little valuable information to offer consumers through the auto purchase or lease process," stated Chris Umer, co-founder of CarSOS.com. "Everyday we saw customers spend thousands more than they should and decided to reveal the information critical to a successful auto purchase. That means that the dealers will get a fair profit while saving consumers thousands."
CarSOS.com allows customers to compare prices on new and used vehicles, gauge credit worthiness, determine financing, understand the confusing leasing process and gives the consumer an overall perspective on the auto industry, disclosing carefully guarded tricks used by dealerships to profit.
Along with the powerful information offered through the site, consumers can additionally request the information free of charge in book format or talk with a live consultant through an 800 number. Customers with credit problems can also receive assistance through the site or from a consultant to help repair a damaged credit history.
"The number of people buying used cars far exceeds those buying new cars," explained Umer. "The primary reason for this is a poor credit history which makes consumers feel they can only afford a used vehicle. Our site helps people know exactly where they stand in their credit, how much they can reasonably purchase and how to get out of the hole."
"Consumers have to realize that by knowing the price of a car, you are not guaranteed a fair deal," noted Umer. "Price is not the issue. Once the customer walks onto the lot they will be prey to all the manipulative tricks used by dealership professionals. At least now customers will have a professional on their side."
Note to Editors: CBS News in Los Angeles conducted an investigation on how car dealerships are allegedly lying and overcharging thousands of dollars from unsuspecting customers. Some of the biggest dealers in America were caught red-handed. IBP Services believes CarSOS.com is the perfect solution. Additional information is available at www.carsos.com.
