US: Car Suppliers Skeptical of Online Exchange - Study
Large auto parts suppliers remain skeptical about the Internet buying exchange created by Detroit's traditional Big Three automakers two months ago, believing it will take at least a year to get off the ground, according to a study released on Monday. In a survey of 19 top suppliers, investment firm Merrill Lynch found most companies do not feel fully informed about the exchange, and have major concerns about turning over confidential cost information to automakers.
