GM's Cadillac brand is dropping its current advertising agency as it seeks to reverse a slide in sales in its home market and revitalise the brand's image.

In a statement, Bryan Nesbitt, Cadillac General Manager said that Cadillac has 'begun a review process seeking a new creative advertising agency'.

Modernista!, Cadillac's current agency partner, 'has elected not to participate', according to the statement.

Cadillac said it is looking for the 'best agency partner to deliver outstanding advertising that attracts the luxury vehicle buyer'.

The services of Ark Advisors, LLC have been retained to assist Cadillac in the process of finding a new advertising agency.
