USA: Buyers increasingly want discounts on newly launched models
New vehicle buyers in the US are increasingly rejecting newly launched models that don't offer discounts, as they become more accustomed to highly publicised manufacturer-sponsored incentives such as the current employee-pricing programmes, according to the JD Power and Associates 2005 escaped shopper study.
