JAPAN: Brazilian Suzuki chief released after kidnap
The head of Suzuki Motor's Brazilian operation was kidnapped near Sao Paulo last Sunday, Kyoto News reported, citing Japan's foreign ministry. Kiyoshige Ishii was released a day later after a 3.5 million yen ($US29,500) ransom was reportedly paid.
