Bosch has announced several senior management changes in its automotive technology division from January next year.

As the Bosch Group announced on 1 July, Christoph Kübel, president of the automotive electronics division and Werner Struth, president of the chassis systems control division, have been appointed to the board of management, effective 1 January next year.

Effective the same date, Kübel will be succeeded as president of the automotive electronics division by Klaus Meder.

Meder is already a member of the executive management and will continue to be responsible for the division's engineering activities.

Struth will be succeeded as president of the chassis systems control division by Gerhard Steiger.

Up to now, he has been president of the chassis systems brakes division, where he is responsible for commercial affairs.

Also from 1 January 2012, Markus Heyn will become new president of the diesel systems division. He will remain responsible for passenger-car diesel systems and assume additional responsibility for commercial vehicle diesel systems.

Present division president, Gerhard Turner, will retire on 31 December this year.
