BMW Manufacturing Company's plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina has built its 100,000th Z4 roadster just ahead of its 10th anniversary. Z4 production began two years ago.

The Phoenix Yellow Z4 was completed on November 8, and will be displayed in the plant before being shipped to a buyer in Jena, Germany, near Leipzig. The specification includes matching Phoenix Yellow/Anthracite leather interior, 18-inch lightweight alloy wheels and aluminium silver interior trim.

BMW launched the Z4 roadster on October 22, 2002, replacing the Z3.
