JAPAN: Baby Honda Fit for Down Under
Honda will begin exporting its 1.3-litre Fit subcompact to Australia and New Zealand this summer, aiming for combined sales of around 6,000 units per year in the two countries, AutoAsia Online said. The website said Honda would inititally export 100 vehicles per month to Australia, but will gradually lift volumes to about 500 units. Up to 400 Fits will be shipped to New Zealand annually.
