GENERAL SUMMARY - (Describe the overall duties and responsibilities of the job):
Responsible for the P&L of the Thai operations for operations including the set up and establishment of the Thailand facility. Ensure overall business achieves the desired profit and cost levels through efficient utilization of available resources consistent with applicable regulations and established company policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - (Duties required for successful job performance):
- Directs the recruitment, training and development of an efficient staff.
- Responsible for ensuring communication of company policies, procedures, goals and objectives to plant staff.
- Develops and recommends plant capital and expense budgets
- Drives Continuous Improvement and Cost Savings activities.
- Coordinates activities between Divisional groups, other facilities or other divisions as needed.
- Develops Plant Goals and Targets and monitors performance.
- Represents the Company to Customer and other entities as needed.
- Responsible for compliance with TS 16949 and applicable safety, health and environmental regulations or systems.
- Keeps abreast of technological developments to maintain competitiveness.
- Originates or assesses measures designed to improve standard costs through improved methods, equipment, reduction of fixed or variable costs or quality improvements.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE (These are the traditional minimum, or required, bona-fide occupational qualifications and other requirements of most people in this job).
- Bachelor degree or comparable work experience in a related manufacturing field.
- 10 years previous management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Posses a thorough understanding of manufacturing skills including Quality Control, Process Control and Flow, labor relations and communication skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those needed to perform the essential functions of the job).
- Must a proven leader with hands on skills.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of business contacts including subordinates, senior management, customers, suppliers and media relations.
- Must posses’ strong Problem Solving skills.
- Should have basic understanding of material control, accounting and quality control and be technically competent as to products and processes.

- Reports to VP in the US
- Directs reports include: QA Mgr, HR Mgr, Operation Mgr, Finance Mgr, Engineering Mgr, Material Control Mgr, Sales (TBD)
- Indirectly supervises all plant employees reporting to the above managers.
WORKING CONDITIONS - (Describe the environment within which the work is performed).
The position is primarily an administrative position in an office environment but does require employee to be able to effectively work in a manufacturing facility that is noisy and dusty. Will require direct interaction with machinery and equipment.
