Insight into Ford and the Internet
Embracing the Internet was one of Jac Nasser's big ideas and Ford's investment in this area was considerable under his stewardship. The apparent lack of visible benefit to that investment didn't exactly help his job retention case. Here's a speech by Karen Francis, vice president, Ford Motor Company, and president and chief executive officer, ConsumerConnect, which provides a timely update on Ford's Internet initiatives.
